Tell them NO BAILOUT round 2

It won't affect you unless it passes, tell your house rep to vote no on it! If you look at my older posts there is a letter you can send. The only way it will affect you is if you let it pass you'll eventualy be paying taxes into your next life. Not to mention that it will let all the bad banks and insolvent companies limp along for another 3-5 years slowing down the economy and turning 1 painful year into 5 years of sickness. VOTE NO!

The Market Knows

The Market knows what is going on, they have figured out that the bailout is not going to save us. Only years of working hard, living within our means and saving money BEFORE buying things will get us out of this mess. It is all about personal responsibility. The Dow and NASDAQ are down a few percent again today even though it looks as if the house might break under the pressure ignore their constituents cries for justice and pass the bill. The markets know, I know, you know, NO BAILOUT!!

Who pays for that Value Meal? ME!

The state of the Nanny State, October 2nd 2008. Higher taxes, and higher insurance premiums. Paying for people who eat triple cheeseburgers every day and need quadruple bypasses because of it. What happened to Americans who could not only make decisions for themselves, but took responsibility for those actions? Why the hell wouldn’t you eat all you want if you know that eventually you can get disability payments when it gives you type 2 diabetes? Some other poor shmuck who is working out and eating right must keep slogging away in his cubicle so he can give you half his income every year. Why work out when you know that the guy whose insurance went up 26% last year will pick up the tab for your high blood pressure meds and artery opening stents. We need to put a stop to this. This can’t go on. We are going to have 1 working stiff for every 2 disabled out of shape slobs. Tell them to pay their own way. I'm sick of working myself sick for them!

$700 Billion Bill Defeated!

Thank God that every citizen of this country did their duty to reign in an irresponsible government and an out of control corporate banking system. Representatives in the house were getting calls and letters that were 10 to 1 against the bill. Despite their best efforts they could not ignore the will of the people. Now we must remain vigilant and make sure that they don't sneak this past us now that we think we've won. No help for failing banks, no bailouts for billionaires, they made there bed and now they have to sleep in it! Go US! We did it!

Don't Fall for it!

There are so many reasons that the bailout is a horrible idea! Go here for a pretty good break down, if a bit dry. http://market-ticker.denninger.net/archives/587-The-Mother-Of-All-Frauds.html Don't let them waste our money again! Paulson wants the crooks to get all of their money for making huge blunders. He said he is afraid that if he touches their "Golden Parachutes" the companies will not take part in the bail out. Well then they don't need it. Good God Man! What is the world coming to?

Write your Rep! Tell them no Bailout for wallstreet fat cats!

Dear Senator Snowe (your senator here),
I am writing this short message in order to ask that you please vote no on any financial bailout package. The Wall Street Banks and other institutions involved have made bad bets, doubled down, and lost again. When I make a poor investment choice the government does not swoop in and change the rules just for me. We need to reattach risk and reward, and rewarding the banks for making bad loans and betting huge, at 30 to 1 margin, is no way to send that message. Lets stop privatizing gains and socializing losses. I am an active investor and I have never seen this kind of government intervention end well.

Thank you for your time, (Your Name Here)

TDAMERITRADE DOWN! 9/17/08 Friday the 19th, 2008

Well TDAmeritrade.com is down, people are unable to trade on one of the most profitable days of the year. Many people predicted this coming as it has happened before, calls to Ameritrade are going unanswered as their central call centers are overwhelmed. The best option to get a hold of an ameritrade representative is to call one of the local offices that they have all over the country from when they were TDWaterhouse. A local office in my area is 800-934-4448 dial -option 8 extension 60505 for the Branch Manager. You can call them or look up your own number. You cal also try logging in through tdameritrade mobile , izone, and through the auto phone system. Good Luck People!
